mindful medicine, inspired health
About Nanopractice PDX
Nanopractice PDX is a new and revolutionary medical practice in NE Portland offering primary care for children and adults. Imagine being greeted by your physician at the time of your appointment, and settling into a comfortable visiting area for tea as you discuss the purpose of your visit. Imagine making your own appointments online and having continuous, direct access to your physician for important matters outside office hours. Imagine a physician, double boarded in internal medicine and pediatrics, who suggests western medical treatment when prudent, but also discusses the merits of nutritional therapies, body work, Chinese medicine, herbal treatments and homeopathy. If this kind of approach to health appeals to you, please read on, and consider requesting an appointment with Dr. Chrissie.
Dr. Charlotte C. Ott (Chrissie) received her medical degree and post graduate training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and holistic medicine. She is continually seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge base and keep up to date in her fields of specialty. The goal of this practice is to engage mindful people in a meaningful partnership with their physician to create inspired health, using traditional allopathic modalities as well as a variety of complementary and alternative therapies. It is set up in the style of a "micro-practice" which means that only one patient is seen in the office at a time, and visits will be a minimum of 30 minutes in length. There is no waiting area because there is, in theory, no waiting. The practice will initially be open only to the first 500 patients due to the increased level of service and accessibility to the sole provider. There will be online access to new patient registration documents as well as scheduling. If you are interested in more information, please email drchrissie@nanopracticepdx.com or call 503.922.3937.
